Ching-Tsun (Joyce) Chang, Ph.D. (張景淳)

Dr. Chang joined the Department of Oceanography at National Sun Yat-sen University as an Assistant Professor in 2026. Her research examines how the environment and organismal biology interact to shape the migration, movement behavior, trophic ecology, and nutrient use of marine species, and how these interactions in turn influence their population dynamics, life-history strategies, and ecosystem roles.

She combines approaches such as stable isotope analysis and biologging in new ways to gain unique insights into the lives of marine animals.
